Activities at the Preserve

While the roads were originally designed for equestrians and carriage driving, they are also perfect for walking, jogging, hiking, cross-coutnry skiing, nature study, bird watching, photography, and walking a leashed dog.

Seasonal activities include fishing and cross-country skiing.  Fishing with a State license is permitted during trout and bass season.  The Pocantico River, which passes through the Preserve, is a Grade B trout stream and is stocked each spring.
