Educational Opportunities at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve

The educational programs at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve are designed to help teachers meet the current New York State curriculum standards through hands-on activities in a natural environment. Our environmental educators will work with classroom teachers and tailor our programs to fit their specific needs.

Features of Rockefeller State Park Preserve

v Geographic diversity, including a 24 acre lake, streams and rivers, rolling hills, wetlands, and many varieties of woods

v Wildlife diversity, including approximately 180 species of birds

v Numerous varieties of trees and plants

v Wide meandering carriage roads make our expansive preserve easily accessible to everyone
