Educational Opportunities at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve Sleepy Hollow, NY | ||
The educational programs at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve are designed to help teachers meet the current New York State curriculum standards through hands-on activities in a natural environment. Our environmental educators will work with classroom teachers and tailor our programs to fit their specific needs. Features of Rockefeller State Park Preserve v Geographic diversity, including a 24 acre lake, streams and rivers, rolling hills, wetlands, and many varieties of woods v Wildlife diversity, including approximately 180 species of birds v Numerous varieties of trees and plants v Wide meandering carriage roads make our expansive preserve easily accessible to everyone
