Events

The Friends hold several annual events and one or two new ones each year. The Peony Celebration is held each May at the Preserve Visitor Center at the height of the peony garden’s magnificent bloom.

There are two opportunities for competitive races in the Preserve; the 10k race in the late spring or early summer, and the Rocky’s 5k in the fall. The fall also brings the Autumn Pace, an equestrian event held the third Sunday of each October.

Last year we were excited to sponsor the opening for a wonderful event at the Park; “Carriages, Horses, and Hounds”
