Donations

Donations to the Friends are used primarily for the maintenance of the unique system of carriage roads within the Preserve. In addition to cash donations, the Friends welcome the following:

Project Specific – Underwriting Donation
This year we have been awarded a $200,000 matching grant from the Federal HighwayAdministration. Much of the money we raise will go to matching this grant that is designated for the rehabilitation of the roads around Swan Lake and the addition of handicap access parking by Swan Lake. We will also build an equestrian access mount in the equestrian parking lot and create a wheel chair pull off by the benches at Swan Lake so the wheel chair bound can enjoy the tranquility of the Lake.

Double Your Donation with a Matching Gift Donation!
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift!
