Learn how wildlife around the world (and in our backyard) is being affected by environmental changes (natural and anthropogenic) such as habitat loss, invasive species, poaching, pollution, etc. Meet a few of our wild friends such as a box turtle (pictured above), python, toad, chinchilla, and others. This program is offered in partnership with the Greenburgh Nature Center, a leader in environmental education and sustainable practices that inspires people of all ages to love and respect the natural world.
Meet in the Visitor’s Center courtyard, rain or shine! In the event of rain, we have a spacious, well-ventilated indoor area to gather in. Please bring a mask if you are not vaccinated.
