This gala celebrates the ongoing endeavors achieved to protect and maintain this natural treasure since 1996.  Through the tireless efforts of the Friends of Rockefeller State Park Preserve, the New York State Historic Review recently voted unanimously to designate the Preserve and its 65-mile carriage road network for inclusion on the State Register of Historic Places.  Resources raised for the 2019 gala will directly benefit much needed improvements to Swan Lake, Brothers Path and Rockwood Hall.

This year marks an extremely exciting addition – the presentation of the inaugural John D. Rockefeller Jr. Park Preservation Award.  We are very pleased that the recipient of this prestigious honor will be presented to President Bill Clinton and Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton for their longstanding commitment to the environment and dedication to build a more sustainable future.
