Everyone's favorite day of volunteerism is back! The state-wide day of pitching in to help the parks is organized by Parks & Trails New York (PTNY) in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) and local Friends groups, to celebrate and enhance New York’s parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs. This annual event is a volunteer opportunity for people of all ages to give back to our beloved Preserve. This spring, join Rockefeller State Park Preserve (RSPP) staff and the Friends of Rockefeller State Park Preserve to build up our Preserve and our community!

BE PREPARED: Long pants, long sleeves, and boots are recommended. Bring water and a snack. Work gloves will be provided, but you bring your own if you have them.

Can my class, scout troop, or club volunteer? YES! Groups are welcome, we will keep you together.
All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
I can’t stay for the entire time; can I still come? Committing for the entire time is most helpful, but we understand that may not be possible for everyone. We cannot accommodate late arrivals. Please arrive on time for instructions, equipment handout, and group breakout. If you need to leave early, please return any equipment and let your group leader know.
FREE I Love My Park Day t-shirts will be available on a first come, first-served basis.
