Hulda’s Night - The Legends of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve
In 1776 an old woman fought and died as a patriot in the Revolutionary War. Some said she was a witch, others said she we was a skilled, but misunderstood, healer of Bohemian origin. What we know is she was a real person and she lived along what is today called “Witch’s Spring Trail” within our Preserve.
